Hello, Blue Dog...

Blue Dog is celebrating TEN years of rescuing dogs and puppies in the central Texas area... we couldn't do it without the support of our volunteers and donors! We appreciate you more than you know!

In addition to the opportunities listed below... we need:

FLYER HANGERS... if you are interested in hanging flyers for us in central Texas (Austin, Round Rock, Bastrop, etc), then we would LOVE to have your help! We only want them to be hung in "acceptable" spots... like bulletin boards in coffee shops, break rooms, etc. (We don't want to be a nuisance and hang them where they might not be wanted!)

If you are interested in helping out... please email amy@bluedogrescue.com and let her know:

• how many you are willing to hang (usual commitment is 5-15)
• your mailing address
• where you plan to hang them (Cedar Park, downtown Austin, etc)- just so we know what areas we might be missing

The flyers are mailed out generally once a month... they are potentially the BEST way for new potential adopters to find out about Blue Dog and are an essential part of our marketing campaign...

AUCTION ITEMS/RAFFLE ITEMS: We have Dogtoberfest coming up on Sunday, October 3rd. We have a silent auction at the event and we need items to auction: music venue tickets, gift certificates, sports tickets, etc. If you know of any Austin (or surrounding area) store or restaurant that would donate an item, please check with them! We appreciate your help and look forward to having some GREAT items at Dogtoberfest!
